Before promoting the industrial robot to the market, we need to test its repeat positioning accuracy. The traditional method is using a laser tracker, which is extremely expensive. Our LDS has high response speed and good cost performance.
Measurement scheme
Accuracy testing system uses three LDS fixed on the terminal point of robot arm to test the industrial robot repeat positioning accuracy, and simulates X/Y/Z coordinates in space as a reference coordinate system. The robot arm takes repeated movements between any point and the measuring point. LDS transmit the measured data to a PLC or IPC through RS485. A professional data analyzing software will compute the repeat positioning accuracy.
This system can reduce the labor intensity, simplify equipment operation process, and reduce equipment costs.
